We are looking forward to inviting you to the next Scottish Anarchofolkfest 2022:
We are planning for the festival SAFF 2022 to take place in the North of Scotland from Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June 2022. As it is a double Bank Holiday in Britain that weekend we plan to open up the site from Thursday 2nd. You can arrive from Thursday afternoon (earlier by arrangement). The music will begin about 7.00pm. Of course you can stay a short while longer than the festival too but this is also by arrangement. Let us know what you think!
This year we will have our usual variety of local and international folk music performances, as well as workshops, music sessions, open mics and a shared DIY food ‘cafe’ with self-catering facilities and some communal food.
We are actively working to create a space for tolerance and respect for all. In other words: Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. behaviour will be challenged and not tolerated. The intention is to create an open-minded space. Here we meet as equals and leave as friends.
